There are wedding venues that are beautiful, and then there are places that feel almost unreal. Villa Cetinale, nestled in the rolling hills just outside Siena, is undoubtedly one of them. It is a place where architecture, history, perfectly sculpted gardens and the soft Tuscan light come together effortlessly. Every corner feels like a film set, making it one of my absolute favourite wedding venues in Italy to photograph.

From the moment guests arrived beneath the towering cypress trees, the atmosphere felt unmistakably Italian. Long aperitivos in the gardens, candlelit dinners beneath the Tuscan sky and centuries-old architecture created a celebration that was elegant without ever feeling overdone.
The bride wore a striking couture gown with sculptural floral embroidery that perfectly complemented the timeless character of the villa. Its fitted silhouette felt both modern and romantic, adding a fashion-forward element without distracting from the effortless beauty of the day. One of the things I love most about Villa Cetinale weddings is the incredible variety it offers throughout the day. The iconic Baroque staircase, symmetrical gardens, endless rows of cypress trees and weathered stone walls provide a completely different backdrop every few steps. It allows every part of the story to feel visually distinct while remaining beautifully cohesive.
